Omega-3 fatty acids, particularly DHA and EPA, are essential for the proper functioning of the heart, the brain (especially in children), and the eyes. Additionally, these fatty acids are important components of cell membranes in every cell of the body. They promote the flexibility of cell walls, which ensures efficient absorption of nutrients. Omega-7 is an important building block for mucous membranes, skin, and eyes, and plays a major role in skin hydration. As we age, the body produces less omega-7. Sea buckthorn oil, which is rich in palmitoleic acid and cis-vaccenic acid—both rare omega-7 fatty acids found in plants—is a powerful source of these fats. Moreover, sea buckthorn oil is rich in antioxidants. It is used in the treatment of dry eyes, skin, mouth, stomach and intestinal mucosa, and vaginal dryness.

Dosage and Usage
Recommended dosage: 5 ml per day (1 teaspoon) during or after a meal.
