Veendammer is a full-fat 50+ cheese enriched with 99% pure magnesium salt from the Zechstein source. Veendammer is a creamy, smooth cheese with a mildly savory and creamy flavor. It is the first cheese in which part of the (sodium) salt has been replaced by magnesium! This makes the cheese a healthier option, perfect for everyone who loves cheese but also for those who want to reduce their salt intake.
The cheese was created through an intensive collaboration between Slob cheese farm and magnesium producer Nedmag from Veendam. This resulted in a special cheese made from farm milk from the Giessenburg polder, where the Slob family has been making the tastiest cheeses for decades according to a unique recipe. The addition of pure magnesium salt from the Zechstein Sea not only makes this cheese healthier but also very creamy and delicious.

Storage Keep refrigerated (max. 7 degrees Celsius). After opening, the cheese has limited shelf life. Packaged under protective atmosphere.
